Background
I was born into a family where mental health, addiction, violence, and disorganized attachment styles ruled everything around me. I was raised in a household where racism, stereotypes, discrimination, and individualism ran rampant.
As a leader, I believe transparency and authenticity are essential pillars for building trust.

I was born into a family where mental health, addiction, violence, and disorganized attachment styles ruled everything around me. I was raised in a household where racism, stereotypes, discrimination, and individualism ran rampant.
I began my post-secondary journey in 2011 at the University of Lethbridge, pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Addictions Counselling. For the first time, I felt comfortable in my own skin and excited about what was ahead. I had finally found purpose, meaning, and stability.
One of my favorite quotes is “people begin to heal the moment they feel heard,” which is why I am dedicated to supporting marginalized populations facing complex circumstances. To do this, I practice within humanistic paradigms while utilizing trauma- informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally appropriate frameworks. My goal is to empower service users, and help pave the way for wellness, healing, recovery, and success.
