
My personal leadership philosophy
is grounded in social justice, relational accountability, and a deep commitment to collective care. I believe leadership is not about authority or control, but about service, humility, and creating space for others to rise. My role as a leader is to walk alongside those I support, honor their lived experiences, and amplify voices that have historically been silenced within systems shaped by colonialism, oppression, and inequity.
I lead from a place of reflection and intentionality, recognizing my positionality as a white, cis-gender woman working within Western systems. This awareness compels me to continuously unlearn harmful narratives, challenge my own biases, and remain open to discomfort as a pathway to growth. I strive to practice leadership that is ethical, transparent, and guided by principles of relational respect, dignity, and accountability.
I view leadership as inherently collective and interconnected. I believe that healing, empowerment, and meaningful change occur through relationships rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and mutual responsibility. My approach prioritizes collaboration over hierarchy, dialogue over dominance, and care over compliance.
